Before Remodelling

These pictures were taken when we first bought the house.  My husband put an offer down the first day it was on the market, before I ever got to see it; but he knew exactly what I wanted.  The first one is a shot taken from the doorway of the office, looking through the dining room and into the living room.  That shag carpet had to have been there since the 80s.  The wood floors underneath were not hard wood; they are some kind of softer wood that scratches and dents very easily.

Here is a photo of the kitchen.  The cupboards must be from the 50s and the stove did not work.  Check out the awesome linoleum (ca. 1970?)!
