In the “Chronicles of Cannon Falls” book (1976), there is a short blurb about our house on pg. 136:
“In 1923, Ben Van Campen had the barn at his father’s home (304 West Mill Street) moved to 114 South Second Street. It was remodeled and fits in very well with the neighborhood.”
Up until seeing this article, we believed that our house had been built around 1915, and we had no idea that it had started its journey as a barn!
